The Washington Redskins have signed DT Stacy McGee, formerly of the Oakland Raiders, to a 5-year deal worth $25 million.
DT Stacy McGee to Washington, five years $25m

McGee, 26, was a 6th round pick by the Raiders in 2013 who earned less than $700,000 last season. He’s about 6’3″ and 310 pounds, so, like Terrelle McClain, he is not really suited to the nose tackle role the Redskins need to fill.
McGee is no star and never will be, but he can be a decent rotational player for Washington. Like McClain, McGee is a downgrade from the departed Chris Baker, but at least Washington did not break the bank to sign either player.
