Redskins Kicker Honored Again

One day after being named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for making all five of his field goal attempts in a 29-27 Redskins win over the New York Giants, place kicker Dustin Hopkins has been honored again, this time as NFC Special Teams Player of the Month.

Hopkins is the first player in franchise history to win the Special Teams Player of the Month award.

In the month of September Hopkins made all 11 of his field goal attempts, all five of his extra point attempts and crushed touchbacks on 15 of 19 kickoffs.
