The centerpiece of the Redskins draft is Clemson corner Mackensie Alexander. The red-shirt sophomore would be re-united with former Tiger teammate, Bashaud Breeland.
The Skins traded out of the 2nd round, acquiring a high 3rd round selection and a 5th from San Diego. We considered Notre Dame center Nick Martin, who was ultimately taken by the Chargers with our 2nd round pick. Not to get left without a center of the future, the ‘Skins traded up in the 4th to get two time All-Big 10 pivot Jack Allen from Michigan State. The Colts getting picks #120 and #141, in exchange for #116 and #155.
