He wasn’t voted to the 2017 NFL Pro Bowl, but Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins will be there as a late replacement for Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers, who led his Packers to the NFC North division title and to the NFC Championship game, was defeated last Sunday by the Atlanta Falcons, who move on to the Super Bowl.

Cousins led Washington to an 8-7-1 record in 2016, setting several franchise passing records in the process. Cousins threw for 4917 yards, 25 TD, 12 INT. He completed 67 percent of his passes for a 97.2 passer rating. Cousins also ran for 4  TD. Despite this, the Redskins narrowly missed the playoffs.

Cousins will soon be the most highly sought-after free agent quarterback of the 2017 offseason after playing 2016 on the franchise tag.
