The Eagles and Redskins meet for the 163rd time on Sunday. Washington leads the series all-time by a 84-75-3 count, including the last four straight. Skins head coach Jay Gruden is 4-1 over his career vs. Philly, rookie coach Doug Pederson lost his only meeting in October 27-20 at Fed Ex Field.

GAME 13 OPPONENT

The Philadelphia Eagles enter Week 14 in fourth place in the NFC East with a 5-7 record. This is the Eagles first season under Head Coach Doug Pederson and starting quarterback Carson Wentz.

Rookie quarterback Carson Wentz was selected by the Eagles with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Wentz has completed 285-of-452 pass attempts this season (63.1 percent) for 2,901 yards and 12 touchdowns. The Redskins sacked Wentz five times and limited him to 179 yards in the teams’ first meeting this season in Week 6.

Running back Ryan Mathews leads Eagles in all major rushing categories with 102 attempts for 427 yards and a team-high seven touchdowns this season. Running back Darren Sproles has added to both the rushing and receiving efforts this season, posting 73 carries for 339 yards as well as 45 receptions for 387 yards and both a rushing and receiving touchdown through 13 weeks.

Wide receiver Jordan Matthews leads the Eagles in receptions (57), receiving yards (686) and touchdown catches (three) this season. Tight end Zach Ertz is second to Matthews in receiving yards this season with 452 on 47 receptions with two receiving touchdowns.

Linebacker Nigel Bradham leads the Eagles in tackles. Bradham has recorded for 77 tackles (52 solo) this season. Safety Rodney McLeod has recorded a team-high three interceptions this season. Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (4.0 and defensive ends Brandon Graham (5.0) and Connor Barwin (4.0) have combined for 13 of the teams 26 sacks.

Kicker Caleb Sturgis has made 25-of-30 field goal attempts (83.3 percent) this season. Punter Donnie Jones has averaged 45.0 yards per punt on 50 punts this season.

Darren Sproles serves as the team’s primary punt returner and has returned 16 punts for 219 yards (13.7 avg.) this season. Three members of the Eagles have recorded at least seven kickoff returns this season: Kenjon Barner (eight for 251 yards), Wendell Smallwood (eight for 234 with one touchdown) and Josh Huff (seven for 252 with one touchdown).
