The Washington Redskins have made their first move in free agency for the 2017 offseason, re-signing long snapper Nick Sundberg before he hit the free agent market. It’s a small move, but necessary considering how reliable Sunberg has been.
Sundberg, 29, originally signed with the Redskins in 2010 and recently completed his seventh season in burgundy and gold. He has played in 91 games for Washington, including 41 straight from 2014 through the 2016 season.
Sundberg was a 4-year starter for the University of California, playing in 52 games during his college career.
